The Role

As an Elite Hubspot partner, we’re looking for a passionate, creative and curious individual to join our presales team as a Solutions Engineer. 

You will be working closely with our sales team helping them to demonstrate the value of HubSpot to prospects. You will also join technical discovery calls to understand the needs and challenges of the prospect, scope solutions out and identify ways in which HubSpot and various integrations can solve them.  

Core responsibilities

  • Participating in Pre Sales discussion, requirement gathering, solution designing and providing time estimations to deliver the project.

  • Provide technical leadership to prospects to help them understand the advantages of company products and solutions to meet their business needs, including providing technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concept delivery, integration solutions, etc.

  • Designing end-to-end technical architecture (with support from other team members where required) and presenting custom demonstrations for key prospects/customers

  • Be an expert in all aspects of the HubSpot platform and be able to communicate and demonstrate its functions and features effectively.

  • Play an active role in IFT meeting its revenue targets by leading the technical sales cycle for key opportunities

  • Work with the sales team, where required to respond to technical RFPs

  • Act as liaison with customers, internal teams, and partners to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.

  • Contribute to IFT’s plans and develop Presales plans (resources, skills, processes, etc) aligned with budget and productivity objectives

  • Develop an organization focused on Presales best practices around business value-based selling and innovations; customer understanding; simplified and relevant demonstration capabilities; themes, messaging and storytelling; develop strong deal leadership through deal management and competitive intelligence. 

  • Develop pre-sales engineering content with the team (presentations, demos, webinars)

  • Lead estimation efforts to rapidly develop an understanding of potential scope and costs and delivery timescales

Ideal candidate

  • Previous experience working in a presales environment.

  • Familiarity with the concepts of RESTful APIs.

  • A comprehensive understanding of the HubSpot CRM Suite (Marketing, Sales, Service, CMS and Operations Hub). 

  • Experience running live demonstrations of a SaaS product, preferably HubSpot.

  • Strong communication skills.
