The Challenge

Pusher approached IFT wanting to migrate seamlessly from Salesforce to HubSpot. The primary challenge was moving 9 years of CRM data and setting up a system that could integrate into various platforms to offer a holistic view of all data for key user insights.

IFT had a strict deadline of 6 weeks to deliver a full migration from Salesforce, including 5 integrations and a full sales process setup, while ensuring minimal operational disruption.

Solution

IFT executed the migration project using a phased approach to ensure the Sales Team could move from one CRM to another with no overlap or double work.

  • Salesforce Integration: Used the Salesforce native integration to map data and create contact properties in HubSpot, syncing work while the Sales Team continued using Salesforce.

  • Custom CRM Integration: Completed a custom integration for attachments, emails, and historical data, creating a "mirrored" CRM in HubSpot with no downtime.

  • Integrations: Integrated the full sales tech stack, including Hull (segments remapping), ZenDesk (support activity), and PandaDoc (quote management).

  • Custom API: Developed a custom API using Integromat for the challenging Chargify payment platform integration, pulling customer payment records and subscription plan changes.

  • Training: Provided Pusher's Sales Team with comprehensive training sessions on using the HubSpot CRM, enabling them to transition smoothly.

The Results

The project was a huge success, with the migration completed in under 6 weeks. The impact on Pusher's sales processes was significant:

  • Holistic View: The team can now view all contact activities (conversations, service tickets, deals, payment status) on a single HubSpot record, eliminating the need to open five different tabs.

  • Accurate Forecasting: They can get a snapshot view of their sales funnel immediately and use HubSpot reporting to accurately forecast deals and measure sales performance.

  • Transparency: They enjoy full transparency over contact activity in the sales funnel.
