We are looking for a Chief Revenue Officer that will be reporting directly to the CEO and Managing Director. Overview:

Reporting to the CEO and Managing Director the role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will focus on scaling operations and company growth. In addition, be responsible for revenue performance, customer retention, customer growth, capacity planning, forecasting, financial planning, and revenue operations (RevOps).

The core responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Revenue Growth 

  • Studio Capacity Management/Planning- Working with the leadership team you will manage and report on capacity across all agency disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and margin reported on a project/retainer basis
  • Building Metrics; set up top-down goals and metrics based on both internal goals and external market opportunities in selected markets, aligning to where possible to EOS methodology
  • Reporting: Monitor the revenue pipelines and forecasting, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth. To include revenue attribution, per project/retainer, margin reporting, time versus actual Inf
  • Oversee business activities which create a revenue stream, reducing silos and creating alignment to ensure higher profitability 
  • Monitoring the marketplace and analyse opportunities, providing competitive analysis and pricing strategies, that will benefit future competitive commercial bids, RFPs etc
  • Managing and allocating the budget to maximise performance, including recruitment budget and sales, marketing budget
  • Infrastructure; integrate the revenue technology stack including marketing automation, HubSpot CRM, reporting tech stack

Strategy Leadership 

  • Developing and executing a go-to-market strategy that ensures the company exceeds its revenue and profitability goals
  • Developing growth strategies highlighting new paths to revenue and build the machinery to get there
  • Focusing on both long- and short-term strategies; taking responsibility for accurate forecasting and meeting/exceeding agreed upon sales and revenue targets

People Leadership 

  • Drive engagement and performance through hands-on leadership, coaching, department meetings, or other programs as needed
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the department to ensure team members are aware of their responsibilities and alignment with company goals
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to department leaders and team members to drive cultural initiatives forward and encourage behaviours and programs in line with IFT values
  • Supporting the Part-time accountant with reports and capacity. Forecasting, sales targets  and margin reporting

About you

  • You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be highly collaborative, data driven and rigorous, and have a passion for people
  • 10+ years in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth
  • Strong technical experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM- HubSpot desirable) and other business intelligence tooling
  • MBA—or equivalent advanced degree
  • Agency experience desirable
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through new service development, sales leadership, marketing, and business partnerships
  • Proven experience in developing and executing business strategy
  • Significant general management and P&L experience 
  • Significant financial acumen and problem solving skills 
  • History of data driven decision-making based on business metrics 
  • Inspirational leadership style, with a proven track record of empowering/scaling teams
  • Critical thinker - strategic and highly analytical
  • Experience with Xero Accounting, HubSpot- CRM, Sales, Marketing, Service, ClickUp - Project Management, Google Docs, Slack- internal comms
